    Where can i download the software for an IPB forum to run on a website

    i don't think u can "download it" but if your host has fantastico or a scripts library like mine, then it can be found in there. Or you can try www.invisionfree.com or www.forumer.com ... those are two that I know of that will give you invision forums.

    yeah but i need one i can download so i can run it with mods such as ipb store

    and they both put adds onto the site which i dont want or want to pay to remove

    It is now a payed for service so you must pay for it.

    PM me and I can help you out with getting IPB. I can get you a liscense. You can't just download this software anymore, only because it is quite complicated and such

    The license still costs the same as it does on the site. There are ways of checking for legal versions you know....

    But if he is willing to take the chance and have his board tarnished because of a mere $70, be my guest.

    yeah just search on www.google.com for some downloads, ull find alot i bet ya

    he can use the freeware versions. 1.3.1 and down

    That is true, but he is saying he can get him a license. 1.3.1 doesnt need a license.
