    Wouldnt call it prem, I mean look at the right side of neck and hair.. But I guess its okay for a 2nd, I mean I know how hard it is on your first few tries rendering. Keep trying maybe you'll get a better result.

    not bad, hair's a bit choppy and the collar is missing a bit on the right, but not bad otherwise

    It does look like a hard picture to do though, I'll give you that.

    Right hand side of him is horrible, but otherwise it's good.

    It does look magic wanded indeed. Try using the polygonal lasso tool and zooming in a lot (500%) make small cuts and after you've finished an area zoom out and see for yourself whether it's choppy or not. It'll come with practice.
