Okey i don't know how the license thing works eg. are you allowed to lend ur licence to sumone else for them to install the forum under ur license? I suppose no1 can rly stop u because u can just say it is your site. I no a few people who have installed forums with other peoples licences. So if any1 could lend me a copy of the latest ipb forum with their license or if sumbody has a license they no longer need, please contact me. I can offer u a fair ammount of credits or we can come up with a deal.
When you register your IPB by typing your key code into the IPB admin cp, it won't let you do it if your key has been used before on another board unless you ask IPS to reset the key. Therefore I don't think you would find anyone that was willing to share their key. You'll have to look hard for someone who is willing to give an unused key away as well though, since they are quite expensive.
Ahh thx for the info Llamaman, its wierd 'cos ive heard lots of people say they got their IPB license off a friend who had purchased one. I suppose if theirs any1 who has bought a license but no longer needs it they may b willing to sell it.
