Well often times you might see people with signatues that have a diffrent colored background mixed in with other colors to give it a real neat touch and you might ask your self, how is that possible i can only make it like 1 color and i can really only change the tones to it , well look below for this easy full sig tutorial , witch isnt hard at all..

Ok first of all Id like you to open a document , any size but id prefer size : 400 * 150 pixels.

Anyways step one : With your document color the background with black. Now pick a brush , i am going to start out with a Grunge brush ,now press 'X' to change your foreground color to white. Now Just click on your sig once , and you have one spot of brushing on your signature. BTW USE BLACK AND WHITE COLORS ONLY , WE WILL DO OTHER COLOR MIXINGS LATER.

Step 2 : Now do it again using the same brush but to cover almost the whole sig. ( Dont worry if it looks ugly , plus its just a test. )
So far it should look like this : [IMG]
Step 3 : Now you see the black spots on the sig? Fill them up using a diffrent brush But make it be bigger brush this is called , abstract/grunge. So it should now look like this : [IMG]

Step 4 : Now press " x " again to switch your foreground color to black , and now choose a diffrent brush and color in some spots on top of the white that youd like , this is called texture of the background.

Step 5 : Make sure u have the top layer selceted in your layers palate , for me i didnt dupe any layers so its the background layer. Now go to Layer, New adjustment layer, color balance. You should now see windows with palates , magenta , blue , yellow , or something like that. Now Im going to make mine like a bloody red , bluish mix.

Step 6 : Now play around with the settings until you get a color that you like, use shadows , midtones , etc and what not i used these following settings : for the first box type in 100 , for the second 0 , for the third - 30 , now switch to shadows , move the cyan cursor to around 60. now the magenta to - 10 and the yellow to - 15. ( u can use ur own settings these are jsut the ones i did. ) Now go to highlights and move ur cyan cursor to 40. Move your magenta to 9. Move your yellow cursor to - 19. Press ok. You should now have something like this : [IMG]

Step 7 : Now basically to add difreent colros u need to do the same thing , but all on a diffrent layer , so create a new layer , layer - new - layer.

Step 8 : Now fill that layer black , and do the same thing with brushes , choose diffrent brushes and just do strokes of white and black brushings.

Step 9 : Now select that layer and go to image , hue and saturation. make sure the preview and colorize window are selceted. Now i want to add a blue to this sig so im going to do this : 146,23,-19 , type that into the 3 boxes there , it gives it a sorta poolish greenish blue color , now click ok. It should now be looking like this : [IMG] (---- dont mind that light green thing at the top i added that to give it a highlight to my sig at end.

Step 10 : Now with that selceted you see were it says normal in the layers window, change it to multiply ( thats what works best for me , maybe somkething else looks better like lighten , but multiply mixes them in. )

Step 11 : It should now be looking like this :[IMG]and thats it your done , now if u think its to dark and want to add light select a diffrent brush very light colored and brush ontop of dark spots and your done , any comments on this tutorial , and wanna donate me some creds pl0x :)
    FINISHED PRODUCT :

Not bad for your first, but that seems too dark. And the red part of the outcome seems...sharp. O_O
