Gamerenders // Ripping Renders

I agree b/c I'm not going to search through those sites after I found a pic somewhere else, just to see if it's on there b4 I post it on here.

That would take months.

 

Some might find this evil or cruel or whatever ya want to call it but.. I find most my images on google images.. Hell even if I find images off DA or CG I wouldn't care one bit to use them.. I am not claiming I did the render, If someone ask where I got them I will link them to it. But thats not the point...

The point is that pretty much everyone rips something.. Programs , Music , Videos , Games , etc... Even the people that make the things at DA and CG... So if they expect special treatment from me when they do it themselves they are not gonna get it.

It goes the same for music, You don't claim you made it but you are using it, Your not making money off it so its all good. This is how I see it. If I take something off the internet and I make money from someone elses work then yea it would be bad, But I am not.

Some may say how would you feel if someone takes your sigs you make and says they made it .. Well I can't stop them but they are claiming THEY made it , I NEVER claim I made a render. I wish I could make them but I don't got that much talent. But if someone sees me using one of there renders and wants me not to use it then they can send me a pm and I will remove it from my sig but I won't delete it off my comp cause I took the time to make the other stuff in it.

But this is just me.... I will follow the rules though cause this is not my forum. Just giving my 2 cents.

 

Well, ripping renders is quite annoying if you ask me, since noobs say: "Whoa man, nice render!", even after we have BLATENTLY SAID: "YOU LITTLE RIPPER, TAKE IT OFF! This render is not his/hers!" That is the kind of stuff that makes me mad, so basically noob stupidity is the cause for this kind of stuff. I personally think that harsher punishments should be given out to rippers, strong enough to make them think twice about doing it again.

As a general rule, ripping anything is bad.

 

Reporting people is very easy
In their post that they have ripped something. Just hit the Report button. Looks like this and its at the top of each post.
Before you report anything, make sure that they ripped it. Get the original and some proof. ^_^

I don't see how this is confusing.

 

Just don't use renders from CG Talk or Deviant Art without asking the person that made it first.
