I already posted whut Jill said. Also - check your My Program files. Sometimes people instal games twice thus using more memory. Delete all folders you don't need. also go to www.lavasoft.com download Ad Ware and run it, it should get rid of spyware which take a lot of memory >_<

Spyware.. So much stuff.. Just programs you dont even know you have running that keep the system running might hog up the stick.
Well, thanks for alot of the info guys. I'll try out every thing you said and give out the credits to alot of who suggested thigns that work. I'm going over monday to a family freinds office, and he will help me figure out what the hell is going on, so I think I'll be fine
yeah, i've thought about that...im sure it can handle it. (but there is always that chance). Is there any place you can check out your max ram?
Um i can tell u that PS by itself is not a gig it 200mb give or take on my computer and i have Adobe Photoshop CS2 not even Photoshop 7 so idk what ur talking about there. and It's been 5 long years since we got into the year 2000 so why do u have 37 gigs for a harddrive thats insane for me. I have 30 gigs in just games on my pc and then another 5 prolly being used up for images and i have 300gigs. damn i sound like an asshole...well if i could rip off gigs i would give u some bro.
