Ok now I'm going to make a tutorial on how to create a signature like this.

Now this tut is not for the exact same sig as that but that is made with this very same technique.

Ok to start off make a new document, I'll use 370x140 for this tutorial.
some of you may think it's big but i like it.

Ok now you have made the canvas so now you want to go

    Filter->Render-> Clouds.

This is how mine looks with clouds filter.

Note: Hit ctrl+f to remake the filter if you dont like how the clouds show up.

Ok now you want to brush a bit, so make a new layer by clicking

    ctrl+shift+n

Then on the new layer brush a bit i used xfuseset2 and dooms abstract brushes 2

    Dooms brushes

    Xfuseset 2

Now get yourself a render. I will be using this one.

Thanks hoffy for cool render. :)

Ok now you put the render on your sig like this..

Or however you want... Now we are going to do the pixel stretch...

Take Single column marquee tool and click it on render, to the spot you wanna stretch.. i made it like this..

    http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a400/Nem...inescreenie.jpg

bad quality cos of a .jpg screenshot...

ok now when you got the line there hit...

ctrl+c and then ctrl+v then ctrl+t and stretch it to fill your whole sig.

Move that layer under your original render layer and set the blending mode on overlay or softlight, or wahtever it looks like the best.

This is what i got so far..

Ok now it doesnt look very cool imo. Well what i did to make it better was to make a color balance layer on the top of brushing layers and play around with settings etc. now i got this

Ok now if you want to blend the render or anything do it now.. i just added there some blur... By duplicating it and putting some motion blur on it.. of course move it under the original render layer...

    I have this noww....

Ok it looks pretty cool for what i think.. now we make little borders, text and osme touch ups maybe..

    First teh borders...

ctrl+a, make a new layer, edit-> stroke 2 pixel white, put the blending mode on overlay.

now the same again but make the stroke 1 pixel black and normal blending mode..

this is what i have now..

Next we are gonna make some text there..

I make my text using my text tutorial you can find it Here

If you want this kind of text just read thru that tut i made..

    My text looks like this.

Now just some touch ups maybe.. lemme think.. hmm ok, some lines and pattern there...

    Finished sig is this!

about the patterns and lines.. just make a new layer below your border layers and make a selection for the pattern then go edit-> fill and select your pattern, put blending on overlay, and for lines.. Same thing, but use pencil tool white color, draw something, put blending on overlay.

    Ok
Im finished here i hope you enjoyed this tut and learned something from it, and this took long time to write, so +rep or cred or comments etc are welcome :P

Ask for creds, not for rep, rep is not a currency.
