Help Me!

I'm using Photoshop 7.0

Alright , heres my problem :

When I try to make scan lines I 1. Make a new file , 3x3 72 resolution

2. I zoom in to 1600%

3. Now heres my problem , I grab my pencil tool 1 px but I cannot make the diagonal line required ( I used darks tut ) , My pencil doesn't want to click on the edges , I can only make strokes in the middle , the rest dont appear :S

If im not being clear enough just ask for a screen shot and I'll post one :S

 

Ok if there is like a envolope looking thing in the top left on there thats whats wrong this is how to get rid of it hit ctrl+h that at least what i do.

 

Nope , the envelope was there but I removed it and now my pencil tool is still fudged up :'(

 

Well id ont know what to say it works for me but there must be somethng wrong with your ps .

 

Lol :'( , I'll reinstall it , will I lose all my brushes?

 

Not if you save the unde a different file thats not in photoshop then you wont loose them.
