I would recommend Dreamhost.com! Here are my...

    Reasons:

    1. The $7.95 a month plan is HUGE. You get 2.4 gigs of storage, 120 gigs of throughput, unlimited databases, 600 inboxes, 3 domains, a streaming server, a jabber server, and full shell access!!!

    2. Dreamhost's web-based control panel is the best in the industry to my knowledge. You're in control of so much that sometimes you feel like you're going to click the wrong button and restart an entire server farm. Having a good control panel is crucial in cutting out phone support time and FAQ-reading time. But should you need help, Dreamhost's FAQ section is also top-notch. Furthermore, the Dreamhost Control Panel has one-click installs where you can install numerous software packages at the press of a button. For example, suppose you want to use WordPress, all you have to do is click the WordPress button and you instantly have a WordPress installation on your site. Too easy.

    3. Dreamhost engages in random acts of kindness. They have increased the disk space, throughput, and all sorts of other things on my account twice in less than a year. The latest time occurred during their New Years sale, but instead of just giving new users triple space and triple bandwidth, they tripled existing users' allocations as well.

    4. Every person you refer to Dreamhost becomes an affiliate of yours and you get 10% of their hosting fees for life. You also get 5% of the hosting fees of whoever they refer. It's like a pyramid scheme without the "scheme" part. If someone asked me who my hosting company was, I'd refer them unconditionally to Dreamhost even if this program didn't exist, so it's just a bonus that it does. It really only takes a few referrals and your hosting is either free or better than free.

    5. There is a 97-day money back guarantee as well, so if things aren't working out, you can cancel and get a refund. The money back guarantee is 97 days because we give $97 for referrals. In 97 days we get our money (as the user gets past the money back guarantee stage) and then our affiliates get $97. Why 97 you ask specifically? Because 98 would be too much and 96 would be too little (in short, it's just a number they picked).

    6. They host over 140,000 domains! So don't think they are unreliable.

    7. Even though the setup fee is expensive, I can waive the setup fee completely for you (because I am their affiliate). Use this code: RETRONIZEME and the setup fee is waived completely.

Cool! The only bad part of them is that the setup fee is expensive, but that doesn't matter because of the promo code they gave me.

@Mr. Cheeky. No, I don't work for them. But I am their affiliate and I advertised them a lot in the past.

    oh okay, cool

well gothik, talk to me on MSN and I can hook you up, i've tracked my uptime for 18 days so far and it has been 100%

also, i would NOT recommend canaca.com, the prices seem too good to be true

a friend of mine (Joe, also visits these forums) had to pay $800 for bandwidth overusage and they didnt contact him or anything to tell him that he was going over his limit

Thanks, but no thanks. I usually go over 50 gigs of bandwidth when I host videos for people. (Not pirated!)

I have been using FusionXHost for around 3 weeks now. Its great!! No downtime experienced. Very good packages and best of all; its FREE!
But on par with paid hosting.

Yeah, I like fusionzhost.com and all for free hosting, but I don't think they give over 50 gigs of bandwidth. ;)

They can now. You can upgrade selected things. i.e. Only bandwidth/space

So if you are ready to post enough you can get 50GB bandwidth I think/

My friend owns MyExpressHost, I host with him and it is great, the website that is up right now is just temporary, so don't judge them by that also if you contact him I am sure he can work out a good deal with you on a custom package.
