I think it will look so sexxeh miconception about vB is that its ugly....not always

i dunno if this is true but maybe vB is eaisier to update/maintain...that may be why he is going vB

Hmms, I can't say I agree with moving to vB, but i believe some of the reason is:

Though Invision Power Board is great, he wants a new forum update, and IPB 2.0x doesn't offer some of the stuff this forum uses/needs.

vB has an store/credit system that is actually updated(unlike IBStore), and a few other reasons. He also has a lifetime vB license that isn't being used.

I just'd like to point out, that GameRenders moving to vB isn't official just yet. Its in the works, and will be tested before a decision is made.

NOOOOOOOOOO! The only reason I come to GR other than the other Gfx forum is because of the IPB Please don't switch! Maybe you should make a poll or something before you do.

 

i guess itll be set apart from other sites but it would be nice to see custom mods installed

 

Damn, i hate vB. IPB is great IMO i cant wait for the new site but i hope llama decides to stick with IPB.

Many sites have been successful under vB. But I think if Llama can't transfer the posts and credits and other statistics..meh.

 

Llam has assured the staff that he has been successful in transferring all members, topics, credits, and reputation points. So if we do switch to vB, don't get to worried

Its really not that bad
The worst is phpBB in my opinion.
I like IPB the best, but vB isnt all that bad. I just dont like the look of them, and since we have already seen the look. I think the new forum will be great ^_^
