Hello everybody. Recently, I have had problems with my computer and I realized that it was limewire. So I deleted all of limewire that I could, and now I want to buy Napster. I wanted to ask some questions from fellow Napster users. Does Napster have a very good music selection? If not, what would you suggest I get? What files does Napster provide? Is it .mp3s, or something else. How fast do the downloads go? Thankyou.
There are still plenty of FREE alternatives to consider before going to paid. I would recommend WinMX or Limewire Pro if you know where to get it.
ok, i never used napster, but ill do my best.. If you haven't ever heard of Napster, youre in for a ride... they have the largest music selection of all the p2p's try getting limewire pro (pretty simple to get off of limewire itself) the Pro version doesnt have any spyware, and runs ok. Its about the bast thing out there. the next best thing would be BitTorrent. they have mostly mp3, but i believe they have wma and wav too. don't count me on it tho.. I don't know, it depends on how many people and how fast they are sharing a file, same with all p2ps
He basically summed everything up. The downloads should be fast. Why? Because there are tons of people on Napster that have the same songs, so, it should be fast.
Just as long as you realize that you don't own the songs you download from Napster... If you haven't tried their free 14 day trial yet, you should before buying a subscription. The downloads are very fast; I was getting a couple songs every minute.
Define 'crap'.... If you mean crap as in spyware, yea, but some dont have spyware if you get the pro version If you mean crap as in viruses you get from downloads, just always check them with anti-viruses before you open them If you mean crap as in so many files, the more the merrier I say, lol.
