I havnt seen the harddrives of a laptop before. There is a possibilty you may be able to do it. Maybe with converters or somthing.

i know that you can take a laptop hard drive and make it an external. i took a 40GB out of my old laptop, put it in a case, and run it through usb. so it can be done ;) just don't know if you can do it :(

If you know someone that will install it, he should know what he's doing right? I'd say your best bet would be to ask him/her.

I wouldn't try m8, the laptop's harddrives are a different design to desktop pc's and it probly wouldn't fit in your desktop and you would probly have some trouble even getting it out of your laptop.

you want to pay 10 bucks for the converter, or 30 bucks for the external case??

the choice is yours, but I'd go with the cheaper price..

I use a 40Gb drive all the time on my desktop. I went to the computer store and bought an exteranl case and have it sitting on my desk. I hold my PSD's, brushes rendrs and any other files on it so I can take it home at night and have all my files and MP3's where ever I go.
