This keyboard i think is the first of its kind. The keys on the keyboard changes display to the characters you need. ie its like loads of little monitors that change its display. Every key of the Optimus keyboard is a stand-alone display showing exactly what it is controlling at this very moment

The enter key - you can clearly see the little square dots which probably represent pixels or some kind of display mechanism

Additonal keys on the left of the keyboard to access other programs

    English and Russian

    Photoshop and Quake

THis keyboard looks great as you can see from the screenshots. TH ones which surprised me is the photoshop and quake one - Look at the resemblance between the icons on PS and the icons shown on screen of PS or quake :D

Just wanted to share this with the GR community :D Post your views

I've seen this before, and it looks really nice, I would LOVE to get it but it's probably going to be super expensive. Also it seems the keys can be animated and the software will be open source so more cool stuff can be done with the keyboard.

What is the cost on one of those? I wonder if it automatically updates the keys for which ever program you are using.. Would probably get one if they are reasonable. (less than $100)

I did a little more research on it, should hopefully be released in 2006.

This thing is awesome, I've seen it before, you'd think it would be rediculously expensive, but it's actually only $150, which isn't outrageous.

Thats cool. Itll make my gfx life alot easier. But it'll probably be around the cost of my PSP lol, so, I won't be able to get it. How long does it work for, the continous punching of keys will wear it out quite fast, don't you think?

Hopefully they would give a really good warrenty, like they would replace the keys for free or something. If they did that I might consider buying it.
