Well you won't be able to progress if you always do the exact same thing all the time. Sigs are very limited due to their size. I used to suck like major ass in graphics. Then I learned HTML, some PHP and some MySQL. Webdesigning is limitless. You can do ANYTHING you want so you'll be able to progress easier. For example if someone wants to get good in drawing and only thing he draws is flowers, he won't get very good, but if he starts drawing something else like environments, characters or vehicles he will get a lot better due to the techniques of drawing like perspective.

Blah, I know exactly how artist block feels. It's affecting me, kinda.
But hopefully you'll get over it sooner than you think, creativity always comes and goes.

I know how you feel man, having no inspiration to do GFX, but with me, I try not to force it, I just go on with my life, and when I see a good render, or have a stroke of inspiration, then I go and make a sig, but besides the point, have fun on your museum trek

i kno how u feel but theres tons of ways to get inspiration
use your dreams u have had, look at buildings, clothes, shoes things that look strange. open your mind to anything. art is limitless gfx is limitless .... dosent always have to look shiny or grungy or abstract vector its what you make it ..
place yourself in a situation and make stuff on how u feel about it or even your current moods or past history many ways to get insperation jus need to free your mind and go in to a land of daydream :)

It's not quitting. It's having a lapse in creativity. Try creating when you have absolutely no inspiration to do so? You just then throw ---- onto a document, and they all turn out like ---- and/or unoriginal.
