I'm done with graphics I believe...at least for a few months. I don't see myself getting much better than I was. I used to be one of the best here, and could compete with the likes of Irell and other great designers. Now i'm barely an intermediate. Plus, I really see no reason to design. Inspiration is at a major low...I can't find anything anymore. I uninstalled PS and I will probably get it back later...But i'll stay a regular here.
I have tried. SlickKilla is teaching me the basics...or was. Its harder than it looks though. I think i'll spend some time working on my social life, and my parents said they would pay for a nation-wide ( American ) museum tour...for me and my brother. Dunno...I might get some inspiration and meet some cool people.
Sad to hear that your "giving up". Maybe something will rekindle your flame and you will get back into things!
museums are not the best places to meet cool peope. but whatever fits you. I am like the complete opposite I got so many ideas, not even funny but I cant make them reality as of right now.
I know how Chaos feels. I have absolutely no creativity left in me. I look at someone else's sig, and be like, "how come I never think of something like that?" No matter how hard I try, it all comes out the same. I'm trying my hand in more web design now, but that's slowly working. I suggest trying to code. If you can't design layouts, code them.

blow creativity, I just do the same thing with a diferent render and text style and a few small things here and there and call it completely new. when it comes down to it, just fake creativity...

What!? originality is what makes a GFX its a must in every GFX you make otherwise its tha same boring thing and your not thinkin, doesnt hurt to try somthin new
i know how you feel. i dont "give up" as such, but take long breaks. like right now, ive made hardly anything for the last few months, only a few requests and some random ---- while i was bored.
I've been goin' through the exact same thing. No creativity, frustration at not getting any better, I may shut it down for a while too. If you go on this trip, have fun
Exactly how i feel. Look at my avatar, i made it on max. There are so many things you can do with modelling if your an expert, but i can't do half of my ideas well yet.. Maybe you should take that up.. ^_^
