I liked the movie ALOT I give it a 9.5/10. The Special effects were sweet, and the story line was pretty straight forward. But what REALLY gave it the extra goodness was the twist at the end of the movie (never heard it on the radio, or read the book. So I was surprised). ---------------------------------SPOILER----------------------------- The REASON why the aliens died, wasn't because of the air. It was because of our environment. All those little bacteria/germs/viruses got into their lungs. And since they have lived on a completely different planet, they are not used to these viruses, which we have lived so long with that we are immune, and that is what killed them. It was EVERYTHING that killed them, the water, food, and air. -------------------------END SPOILER------------------------------- But I do agree that the little girl was annoying as ----. I mean, CMON she was a ----ing little brat who didn't learn when to shut the ---- up.

nope, i was awake the whole time...and the movie tried to be suspense ful...and it failed..i mean...jesus christ! independence day was better. mr. and ms. smith was better down of the dead (or something) was better star wars was better this is just one of those movies that has been done before..and this one just doesn't live up. it was a waste of money and time that i want back. and it looks like in the only 1 in a 100 that knows a good moive? i suppose u guys thing star wars or the other movies sucked then u guys think independence was worst?!? omfg u dont know how wrong you are. i agree the special effects were teh pwnzorz but teh story and ---- way hella gay. special effects doesn't make a bad moive a good one. Yeah, special effects were good but how many movies these days can u say "gawd, those were horrible effects" Nothing made sense in this movie. They get hit with an EMP and Cruise goes into the streets and u see people filming with cameras... Even his wrist watch is dead and somehow a digital camera works.. Aliens get sick at the end and somehow their shield dies too cus of it lol Birds are landing on it. I've never seen a bird land on a moving vehicle, wth was that... Millions of years ahead of us and in the end, they throw us down onto the ground and stab us lmao. The only thing that I actually did like was the crazy Tim Robbins lol
Saw it yesterday, it was an average movie. saw the original and liked it much more even though it was B/W The little girl was annoying and Tom's character .... well lets just say it was a new experience for him. How did the boy make it to Boston? <_<

you silly fools WOTWs is one of the best films Tom Cruises acting was impeccable, one of his best movies, I thought the reason why the machinence stopped working is because tom crusie killed one then they all started reacting to it? anyways, great film...........10/10 def worth seeing
