Im wondering wads the basics of a good PS art piece, brushing/abstract w/e. Like contrast/brightness and hue/saturation must be included in any art piece, but are there any other compulsory tools that improves an art work?
text: keep simple usually, there's no need for bevel/emboss most of the time, same with stroke brightness/contrast: make any sig have high settings with this until it starts disfiguring the colors... keep generally the same colors from bg to render...
You should always find the colors that work best with your stock, if your using one. And, I always like to decide the style of the picture before I make it. You will also notice you have a kind of style you stick too, like grunge, abstract, tech, etc. I find I like abstract myself.
