Help Making Things Transparent

    Im having problems making GFXs in my photoshop transparent i make sure that before i save it its transparent by going to save for web then i make it transparent but when i upload it its not transparent any reason why, also but when i save it as GIF transparent it works but GIF sucks

    If you want transparent, save it as a .PNG

    Cut out the image you want to save transparent.
    Open a new document(make sure you click Transparent Background) and paste the cutout image.
    File>Save As>.PNG

    And there really isnt anything wrong with .GIFs if they dont lose qaulity :)
    Only thing is, .GIFs usually dont stay transparent when browsing in FireFox ^_^

    .PNGs don't display right in IE. If you're having PNG transparency problems, my first thought is that you need a new browser.

    its works with mozilla but not IE

    You cant view transparent images in IE. Doesnt support it yet. So you are actually fine, tell who ever is having the issue with the transparency, to get firefox and it will solve thier problem.

    well make a transparent background then save it as png. or make whatever you want transparent
