    Warrrrrrnnnniiiiiiinnnnnnnnnggggggg:

I've tried this patch before, what it does it speed up browsing and decrease the other features. So Firefox may lag at times, and also your downloading speeds will decrease due to it.

So only use it if you don't use much features and don't download.

Downloading is faster? What are you mad? The patch increased bandwidth of browsing by decreasing the bandwidth of downloading, so they're is nopossibility in hell that the downloading speed can increase.

This is Generaly posted all around the net, but I figured that I would introduce it to you guys&girls as well.

First things first, you over course have to have FireFox to do this. I don't think IE would do anything close to this.. but if you manage it, post it here for all the stubborn people who are too silly to switch over to FF.

    Here we go:

1.Open a new browser window. Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

    network.http.pipelining
    network.http.proxy.pipelining
    network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

    2. To alter an entry, right-click on it, and select toggle. Alter the entries as follows:
    Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”
    Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”
Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

    3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0&#8243". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

And there you have it! Quick, and easy, and it really speeds up page loading, no matter what your connection speed!

    Cheers.
