Half Life Launcher Error? Wtf

    when i try to play half life or counter strike an error pops up saying half life launcher error!!

    wtf!

    has anyone else had this problem or do u have ideas to fix it?

    maybe stop overclocking if u are, otherwise reinstall

    im not and no it doesnt work... i went on the steam site and this has been a problem for about a year and steam cant figure out how to fix it
