Arhh Need Some Help....

    well im doing some photomanipulation and i have a harrier (jet plane)

    well i wanna make it look like theres heat coming out of the exaust but i just dont know how to make it happen !!

    heres a pic of the harrier...

    does anyone know how to make it happen....50 credz for the first person to point me to a tutorial or helps me out !!!

    Well what I'd do is...

    Select a part of the air behind the exhause with the lasoo tool.
    Use Filter > Distort > Ripple and try out a few settings.

    I can only suggest the same thing. Id fiddle around with some of the different distort filters, and possibly even use combinations. Just make sure you don't overdo it.

    One more thing. From my knowledge, most jets dont have heat waves coming out of the back, because they are at such a high altitude, you wouldnt notice them.

    ahh i got this.

    1. Select the portion Where you want the heat blur to be,
    2. Feather it about 6-10 pixels (Right Click on Area>Feather) So It Disperses
    3. Fool around with blurs in the _Distort_ and the _Blur_ categories, Maybe some other ones.
    4. Don't forget to back up the original Pic.
