Menu open, first tab -> Add songs to library

The songs will appear in the library, if you iPod is connected properly you can see the icon in the right listing. You then select the songs you wish to put on your iPod and simply drag 'em towards the icon and drop em on the icon. Then, at the top of the screen a bar will appear which will show the transfering of the data.

And that as they say is that

Nothing's wrong, as long as it's connected to your pc, the 'do not disconnect' will stay on the screen. Once you unplug it disappears.
The music has to be transfered using iTunes, other data by copy pasting dragging in your browser.

Q: whenever it's not connected (neither plug or pc) does it work like it usually does?

OK, I hope everything 'll work out fine from now on.. I hope so.

I remember having had a few probs with mine too once I first got it. Useful little things though, I don't think I could do without it ^_^

Hardest thing is trying to find a good tool that can transfer the music from iPod to Pc, instead of browsing through those f***** up folders in the browser.

@Demokata: Play & Pause = same button

@Cheeky: which gen have you bought? The latest one?

Try the manual if it helps, not that I ever did, I never do, dunno why

    iTunes ver4.9.0.17

Just try standard procedures if it still doesn't work, completely reset your iPod, plug it in for complete recharge (I had probs when battery was low once, same kind, wouldn't import music even though 't was recharging) and try again ...

Anyway, I checked and what I wrote in the first post is definitely how it's supposed to work, g'night
