Will Nasa Get Off The Ground Today?

    Do you guys think todays launch (10:39 EST) will go off without problems? Personally I think that it will go off okay. They said something about if the fuel gauge still wasn't working they were going to launch anyway.

    Yep, they will launch if it had the same problem as last time because the astrounauts still would have two sensors still working fully and protecting them so it will still launch even if the gauge does not work.

    I heard they didn't know what the prob was? But i haven't checked up on it lately.

    im watchin some of the live shots and it looks awesome, im glad they finally got back into space after Columbia

    I stepped outside and watched it launch. One of the most increible things you'll ever see. :lol:

    The cam view from the shuttle was pretty cool, got to see the really blue ocean and then when the shuttle detached, started the jet engines... wicked.

    I tried to wake up to see it live! But I missed it. I'm watching replays on one of the NASA channels.

    It launched a couple mins ago, I watched it, now te next problem is re-entry.

    Yeah, thats what I'm waiting for. The science channel had something about it when it was supposed to launch but it got cancelled when the takeoff was canceled.
