ok my friend came over and brought his pc we formatted it because he was having some trouble with it we moved it into my room and hooked it up windows logged in automatically and he made 2 accounts he restarted and when he tries to log into the accounts they don't accept the passwords can anyone please help? edit: found his restore disk and are formating again
Windows is a *uc*ing annoying OS when something like that happens. If it happens again.. its no Windows Bug anymore. Did you make sure about Case Sensetive too ? by the way. When at the Welcome screen, you can't see the Admin area, Press CTRL + ALT + DEL to access it (but you'll need the WinXP Admin password, which you make during Installation).
Or try hitting enter with no password. You may not have set up the password on the account just the admin password. Made that mistake a few times. :unsure:
