It's not a rip. It is similar in style, sure, but you cannot, by any means, define that as a rip. Besides BLW, you need to edit it to put your full GR username on it.

No f*cking flame wars please, BLW is a popular, respected artist and if you check out his DA, you'll see why.

Where have you guys been for the past 5 months? I must have seen about 100 look a like wannabe Tiesto sigs. Irell did them, Hell did them, Cap did them, loads of people copied the style. And most of them looked more similar to Tiesto's sig than BLW's.

So why don't we all stop being twats, stop fighting, hold hands (lol) and move on.

Okay its sure not a rip. but IMO its not fair to "recreate" a winning SOTW sig, and Post it in another SOTW.. just my opinion. I don't care if he wins cause its a nice looking sig. Also a designer has to create his "own" style IMO (im sure blacklabelwood has his own style). Blw is a respected member but i dont think its fair to enter with a sig which looks alot like another SOTW sig..

Just read the argument about the tiesto lookalike sig. While i agree that its not a rip per say, i'd like to add that it is pretty much designer's ethic to tell ppl that you were "inspired" by so and so. I know tiesto's sig is very well known, but for people who has nvr seen it, BLW's would be considered very "original". EG. if UV_soaked didn't say "inspired by generation" in his SF sig with the three characters, would he get aggresive responses? probably. But since he included a "inspired by" thingy, everyone undersetands, and it hasn't raised a single eyebrow.
