My First Sig, Rate Plz

Hello all, joined this forum last night. This is my first attempt at a sig I'd like to get some feedback if possible =)

its good work on your text thats to big and try to add more color check out the tut section there a lot of good stuuf about it there 7/10 for your first siggie

Well, its my first attempt at a sig but I must have gone through 10 or so tutorials on grunge / abstract sigs over the past week before even consdiering a first sig.

Thanks for the tips, I made the text big because it looked pretty empty and the font tekhead doesn't work well with small sizes. Once get a decent grasp on how to add tech lines and borders, I will probably reduce the font to at least 3/4 of what it is now.

 

yeah but you wanna stay away from big text cause its just as bad to look at as small text try some pixel fonts you can find them at dafont.com and try and add more color to it also you can find good brushes at deviantart.com there's loods ofem there and try to make it seem like there is some aciton going on in the empty part of your sig that way you dont have to do a big txt

 

Thanks for the constructive criticism Psychodesignz I'm working on updating my sig and decreasing the font size to about 50%. I may end up having to get rid of the subtitle phrase (is that what's it's called?), but only as a last resort. The "Resistance is Irrelevant" phrase has been kind of my unofficial trademark since warcraft II. I'm also reading up on multicolored grunge sigs and tech brushes.

Same color on same color doesn't look too good most of the time, just read the tuts and practice and you'll get better.
