    All down to personal prefrence like the rest of linux personally i like both kde just seems to be current most useful :) but gnome is really good aswell hard choice thats why i use both :)

    do'nt think one is better than the other... kde is a little bit more user friendly

    which is updated more often...

    what do you guys think about other distros? which have you experience with and what do you recommend

    i'd say kde is updated more ... dont know exactly though

    hmm maybe you guys can help me. Ive been wanting to put linux on my old pc but I didnt think it was worth cus of its specs. If you think its good enough could one of you please help me out with it. I would need something user friendly :lol:

    AMD K-6 400MHZ
    192MB RAm
    10GB HDD

    ^ this comp is over 8 years old now and it runs on windows 98 ^
