Okay, so your ex kinda screweed you over with your other friend here, but all is not lost. Just explain things to her and talk it out. Make yourself look silly and odds are she'll forget it in no time. You could tell her that you heard someone say that she really liked you and that you've been thinking about the situation alot and went over to confirm if what you heard was really true. Then tell her she is like a sister to you and that it's likely for the best that you stay friends. Then go out and get a milkshake or something as friends and laugh the whole thing off. ^_^ (Also, dont let her brother find out... he might get mad) I hope this helps you.
