I was shopping around, and i'm stumped. i was looking at computer brands i've looked at: Sony/VAIO ABS Cyber Power Inc. iBuypower Alienware Gateway Dell Vicious PC i am trying to spend under $1000 and used what little computer hardware knowledge I have to find the right on. the games I am trying to run (atm) are: Battlefield 2, Battlefront, and/or SWAT4 so If you guys can help me, using ^those brands or not, help me find a decent gaming computer.
Just build it yourself. You'll be getting the same thing except with the company's case. Also you'll be spending a bit more cash to pay the company.
i personally am not buying the computer, so it is not an option for me to build. i would if I could. <_<
go for vaio even there laptops kick ass for gaming. i can play doom3 full resolution on mine. lotta people always impressed with that
Cyber Power. It's the closest to building your own computer. All the other ones try to steal your money. Especially Alienware.
dunno bout that, vaio is usually always overlooked got alot of ram and is really a nice computer. lot of usb ports (thank god) lol. and vey nice and just a overall great computer
sorry for double but look into voodoo a bit too, another fine computer [/b][/quote] I hope you're kidding, lol. Voodoo and Falcon Northwest are the worst money thieves in the computer industry. Show me a $5000 Voodoo Computer, and I could put together a better one for $2500.
Don't buy brand comps.. Build your own, cheaper and probably better But if you're gonna buy a brand comp.. Alienware has a few nice cheap ones.
yea building it yourself would be the best bet...you can spend less because you know what you need and dont need...if your not a gamer you dont need an amazing graphics card...stuff like that
If you want good customer service, DONT GO DELL. They have you on the phone line for 3 hours and then they allow you to talk to some clerk in India... (half the time they dont even help) <_<
