Before you apply to be a mod on a site or GFX Designer or something, read this:

    1. How do you treat the other members? With respect? Do you give out constructive crit to the best of your ability? How do you treat the current staff?

    2. Post Weight. In other words...when and what do you post? Do you make a lot of interactive threads? Do you post constructively in a conversational manner in order to keep threads going and comfortable?

    3. Knowing your role. Unfortunately it's hard because we all want to stand up for someone we like, or someone we feel needs standing up for. But sometimes it gets too out of hand for our members and problems arise from it.

    4. Duration of your time here. Since we started or just recently?

    5. Spamming/flaming. An excess of these two will bring our view of you down. A good idea is to keep it to PMs or even a messenger. No one else wants to fish through flame posts to see how their sig is being rated.

    6. Morale - do you contribute to the site in a way that makes people want to be here or do you just constantly piss people off?

Its questions you ask yourself. When your a mod and there are two people fighting, you can't jst ban someone becoz you don't like them, you need to go into details. You punish the guilty, even if they may be your friends.

We'll I read that, tested myself, didn't lie to myself, and I came out fine, but I'll guarantee you I will never be a mod.

Good advice. If people can't think these things on there own though... they have no right to be a mod.

Personally, I try to help people as much as possible because it just feels good to help others. As for whether or not my behavior is suitable of being a mod, I'll leave that up to management to decide. They see a lot more than people tend to believe. ;)

@Kazuya.... that is indeed another great point that should be added to the first post. It's like they say.... Justice must be blind to function correctly. In other words.... even if your best friend were to do something out of line as for as the TOS is concerned... they must be dealt with in the same manner as your worst enemy.

This is what you should think before applying. If you have negatives about it. Dont waste the admins time.

As per your thread you asked if a mod could move this for you , so i will move this topic for you into the general part of the forum where hopefully you will get more people to reply to your thread

As ive moved this i will leave a trace of the topic in problems/suggestion so others who come in can see that i have moved it for you

    Weighty enough ? lol

    Cool tips though :)

lol, thats pretty much what I meant :)

Also, when being a mod you need to consider if your active enuff, and what qualities can YOU bring which other people can't >_<

Personally, these are actually things that people should ask themselves in time, they shouldve be told to ask themselves these things... That proves to an extent that they shouldn't become a mod >_<
