    Hey guys,
    Im buying a laptop tonight for college this fall and I've searched around and found the best proformance one possible for the money. I basically am going to be using this for school use, browsing the web, doing graphics, and some gaming. Let me know what ya think..

    I think your ok i have a dell inspiron 1200 and i love it. I am on it right now and i get quick speed with my wireless internet card.

    The hard drive might be a bit slow at 4200 RPM, otherwise it seems like it'd be good for what you plan on doing.

    isnt alienware good too? or vaios are good as well...that small white one is sweet

    I only have about $1700 to work with so Alienware would be a bit overkill

    i have a dell laptop just for graphics nd browsing and a desktop

    i like the specs mate

    nice, great specs but i presonally think that you picked a bad brand. my expierences with hp and other people have always been bad. 1700 is a lot to work with. sony vaio is always good and that kinda laptop will get you close to 2 grand from alienware.

    its a good laptop but i have also been screwed by HP try dell just don't try gateway!

    Well since its over 15inches I wouldn't call it a laptop, its more of a mobile desktop. Nice specs though, but I recommend you get a dvd-rw/cd-rw instead its worth it.

    Well you can connect to a wireless router and bluetooth is to be able to connect wirelessly to stuff that uses bluetooth like some keyboards, some mouses, cellphones and other stuff.

    no dont no about it but ur specs look good, plus if u dont game theirs really no point in buying a laptop from alienware, and ur ram should last u a long time as well
