Today i was foolowing the tutorial to make the fire effect and one step (early step) is go to filter > render> Fibers the only bad part there is that i dont have the fibers option and i most likely wont have alot more if i ignored this step and moved on (witch i wont ignor) im using adobe 5.5 is this just to outdated for current sig makeing use?
no 5.5 isnt to outdated i used 5.5 for ages only jus bought cs2 u can do al ot with 5.5 u jus have to learn a lot urself
one last question does anyone have any advice that will save me 10 hours of siting in confusion on fire effect with 5.5? if you do please respond will save me alot of time Thank You
not much, you can just create fire with some clouds, or brushes (doubt there willbe fire brushes for 5.5 though) and with animation, it would be a total chaos. since every frame. should be completely new, so for every frame, another layer. with the almost the same fire. but just a bit different
I would recommend that you try to obtain Photoshop 7+, as resources [tutorials, brushes, etc] are all made for 7, at least, and you won't be able to keep up with your current version.
Yes you can get photoshop 7 off of ares p2p sharing software, comes with serial, i got mine for free took like 10 hours to download+ but it was worth it, but i was using dial up so ya.
It would be ALOT easier for you to just do get Adobe PS CS, from Limewire. That's what I did. Adobe 5.5 isn't out dated, you can do nearly everything you can do with CS, you just need to know the NAMES of the brushes rather than see a sample of the brush. Your pretty much outta luck if you want to follow a tutorial with 5.5. But creating sigs, you can still do alot, and trying to render something with the polygon lasso would be like wiping before you poop, it just doesn't work.
isnt limewire that website that you download illegal stuff from? if it is my answer for that is NO you get viruses from that stuff 2 fyi
For Creating sigs, Photoshop 7 or higher is strongly prefered cus the most brushes are made for that I still use PS7
