Hex Colour Code Of This Site.

    what is the hex colour code for the background of this site. someone told me it, and i tried it out on the background of my sig, to make it look transparrent (without saving as a .gif or .png), but look what happend? am i using the wrong colour plates in PS? i.e. Pantone Matte or TRUMATCH?
    which ones and how can i get the exact colour????????

    make the backround actually transparent next time but no I don't no the hex color code.

    That's funny. The page source says it's #232D35, unless im very much mistaken.

    It does have that code, but it is for the bg behind the content area. Close, but the right one is just like final mentioned.

    #27323B

    It is in the .post content part of the styles area.

    guys, dont worry, i had the right colour, just that my browser (Safari) was making it a completely different shade of blue, worked fine in IE and Firefox, its a shame tho, becuase IE users cant see my .png, and i get the wrong colour when i fill the background. any other Apple Macintosh Users here have the same problem?
    cant think why its happening..

    I had a problem like this and I've found an extremely useful little program for getting HEX codes:

    Just have the program in the foreground, point the mouse over something and it'll show you a really magnified version of the area you're hovered over with the HEX code.
