what is the hex colour code for the background of this site. someone told me it, and i tried it out on the background of my sig, to make it look transparrent (without saving as a .gif or .png), but look what happend? am i using the wrong colour plates in PS? i.e. Pantone Matte or TRUMATCH? which ones and how can i get the exact colour????????
It does have that code, but it is for the bg behind the content area. Close, but the right one is just like final mentioned. #27323B It is in the .post content part of the styles area.
guys, dont worry, i had the right colour, just that my browser (Safari) was making it a completely different shade of blue, worked fine in IE and Firefox, its a shame tho, becuase IE users cant see my .png, and i get the wrong colour when i fill the background. any other Apple Macintosh Users here have the same problem? cant think why its happening..
I had a problem like this and I've found an extremely useful little program for getting HEX codes: Just have the program in the foreground, point the mouse over something and it'll show you a really magnified version of the area you're hovered over with the HEX code. Download Link
You can use the Firefox ColorZilla to find out what it is: http://www.iosart.com/firefox/colorzilla/ The background color is #232D35.
