Windows Xp Theme Thingies

    From screens of peoples desktops and tut videos I have seen people with custom WinXP bars and interface... I really can't explain it, but its cool and I was wondering if I can get any links to sites that can help me out. Thanks!

    Well, for windows xp, there's only 3 different skins.
    There is the default skin, the silver skin, and the other weird greenish one.
    You can access them and change them by right click on the desktop, then going to Properties>Apearrence then the middle selection box is called color scheme.
    I use the silver one, it's way cooler, I think.

    There are programs like http://www.astonshell.com/ & www.windowblinds.net that have custom ones, if thats what your talking about. Those programs cost money for the full version, but you can probably get them from you know what for free.

    I'm sure you can get a trial version of Windows Blinds.

    yeah but those are shells not windows themes, and i dont really like shells :/

    yes i know its shell theme(aston) but some people use aston shell themes

    uxthemes.dll rox, cuz it dosn't make u lagg, its not an external program. basicly it hacks uxthemes.dll and lets u use themes that is not made by microsoft, so u are not limited to the 3. u can dl the themes from deviantart and the program

    I want proof that these thigns wons screw up my computer, because i love it very much, and don't want it to get hurt :D

    i used theme xp once but it totely ----ed my pc up.. maby it was me who did it but i dont use them enymore now...
