i have just finished the new 6th book ((starting around 1 am and finishing around 1 pm)) and i think it has the worst ending ever...In the beggining of the book you see narcissa and bellatrix go to snape, narcissa is crying and needs snape's help. Snape is acting like a deatheater and says he will help narcissa in anyway he can. Narcissa explains that draco had been given a job by voldemort and that she was afraid he wouldnt be able to complete it. She makes an unbreakable vow with snape ((unbreakable vow is where once you do it if you break it you die)). In the vow he promises to help draco finish the job if he cannot. Then you see dumbledore come to take harry to the burrow to see hermione and ron and the rest of the weasly's. They get their owl's and harry does extremly well ((he gets a E in everything except history of magic and divination and a O in defense of the dark arts)). They go back to school over the course of the first term harry gets a potions book from his new potions master proffesser slughorn ((snape took over D.A.D.A's)). The book have revised spells and potions in it, thought up by a student who went to the school 50 years previous. Harry follows all these and it makes him out to be an amazing potions maker. Now also throughout the book harry has been having lessons with dumbledore where dumbledore teaches harry about voldemorts past. You learn about where he grew up and how he was like in school and what he did after school and such. Now in one of the memories ((a memory from slughorn, who taught voldemort)) it shows voldemort asking about horcruxes, he asks slughorn, now slughorn changes the memory to show himself doing notthing wrong and telling voldemort that he wouldnt tell him about them, but dumbledore can tell it isnt really what happened. So harry goes and gets the real memory, and the real memory shows that when voldemort asks slughorn tells him. A horcrux is when someone splits their soul so they can survive even when a killing blow hits them. And voldemort did this 7 times. so they would have to destroy the horcruxes otherwise he will nvr die. Now these soul parts must be kept in a small object, and voldemort chose objects that show great importance. Well dumbledore had previously destroyed one...a ring whos previous owner was salazar syltherin. Another was the riddle diary in book 2, that was destroyed as well. And another was in voldemort himself, so that leaves 4 to destroy..... ill come back to that..lets talk about..shipping...or in other words, the romantic aspect of the book. throughout the book ginny has been dating dean thomas..and she makes out with him everywhere, and ron finds that very annoying, but then he himself finds lavender brown, he likes ron a lot, and then ron starts dating lavender, and they make out everywhere, and this leaves hermione very jealous and sad and depressed. As she shows a hugeeeee crush on ron throughout the book and as we all know ron is a bit thick...he nvr notices it. Now towards the middle of the book harry starts having intense feelings for ginny. INTENSE feelings, whenever he sees ginny and dean make out he wants to curse dean....though nearing the end of the book ginny broke up with dean and then harry kisses her, from then on they are dating. Ron also breaks up with lavender, but nothing happens between hermione and ron yet. now that the 2 biggest parts are caught up...back to adventure Dumbledore promised harry he'd bring him if he found out the location of the next horcrux. He did and so they go off to find it. They go to a cave where they go through a bunch of magical puzzles and eventually gets a locket that was special to voldemort. They barely escape alive, and dumbledore is close to death. Harry apparates to hogsmeade ((they had been receiving apparating lessons for the whole last term)) and when they get back to the castle they see a dark mark above the castle. They rush back and land in the astronomy tower. As harry goes to wake up the teachers and also find out what happened dumbledore put a binding spell on him so he layed still ((luckiilly he was under his invisibiiity cloak)). At first harry doesnt know why they dumbledore did it, until he sees draco malfoy with a wand to dumbledore. And draco says he was commanded to kill him. Now dumbledore is still being calm and is saying he wont, when a fight breaks out between deatheaters and order of the pheonix members...draco looked nervous. Then after some fighting a couple death eaters made it to the top of the tower and they all want to kill dumbledore but it was voldemorts orders to have draco kill him, it doesnt look like he will, but then snape comes in and it looks like harry and dumbledore are saved, until snape points his wand at dumbledore and dumbledore trys to plead but snape kills him. Ok well here is where i stood up and screamed expletives at the top of my voice, and i sujest you do the same as it wont get any better, bcuz yes, dumbledore is dead, and he isnt coming back, dammit right :-/....well anyway almost all the deatheaters escape, cept one who was killed and snape escapes and it is now real, snape was always evil...dude wtf....then we find out bill weasly was mauled by a werewolf ((dont worry he is still alive, though it looks like he will have characteristics of a werewolf soon :-/)) and then at dumbledore's funeral.... here is where it really sunk in he was gone...and also here is where you realize your a hooked to a series, you need to put down the book for a few min bcuz there are too many tears in your eyes. well anyway....then harry decides that no matter whether or not the school opens next year, harry will not be there, his last year will be spent hunting down the horcruxes ((hermione and ron are now holding hands and ron is stroking her hair...hinting at anything anyone?)) they say they will come as well, harry then tells ginny that he cannot be with her anymore, and this is one of the worst parts of the book, bcuz harry finds someone he truley loves and he drops her for her safety even though she doesnt want him to do it.... thats pretty much the end of the book, i missed no important info, maybe a few small things here or there, but this is the main gist of the book, and it saves you a lot of anger and resentment if you actually read this ((i had it done in 12 and a half hours, how do you think i feel, devestated)) Overall if the 7th book doesnt magically make dumbledore back alive and make harry go back out with ginny then ill have to go to england and kill jkr hope you enjoyed it... rep, cred is apreciated for me writing this long as thing ~naz
read the whole thing....but dumbledore...and some death eater, nobody else dies presently in this book
Yea Harry Potter kind of died out after the 4th book....I still haven't even finished the 5th book and I never plan on it. I thought just the beginning was so bad I just put it on my shelf and stopped. They aren't even going to finish the series she turned in a lazy rich ass bitch.
Wow, how do you read a book that fast? It would take me a month to finish reading that.... But Harry Potter isn't something I like to read....
Harry Potter dies out on the 3rd book for me, never finish it. But the movie are pretty good with the... special effect and all.
well i loved the first 3 and then the last 2 wernet so good and now it has taken her so long to write this one i forgot harry potter even exister lol so i havent even got it yet cuz i wanna re read the old ones to remind my self oif the story (no im not just gonna watch the moveis cusz they didnt do the books any justice and they miss big bits out) so ill read it later and i didnt read the sponles but thanks anywawy
