    Roffle!! Mac? Heh.

    You say you want 2.8ghz roguhly, a AMD 64 with say winchestor core, or even newcastle 3000+ runs at 2ghz and will piss all over say a P4.

    Get socket 754, best choice, get a neo mobo with latest Nforce and if you like PCI express (like gaming?)

    WTF? Why would you get socket 754? :eek: That road is a dead end. It doesn't even support dual channel RAM. At least go with a socket 939.

    I got a friend who took a computer repair class and networking. I was thinking of talking with him to consult on wat to buy. he built his own pc and it runs awesome, no problem. I also have this older guy I know who works with computers, offered me an internship as his job. Either way I bet I can pull this off
