New Website

    hey all
    im thinkin bout making a website to put all my sigs, backgrounds, renders and other stuff in. pretty new to html so am just using Frontpage and making the header an stuff in Photoshop CS.
    anyone who has made a website before wanna give me some tips cuz from what i tried so far its been pretty frustrating.

    I would suggest you look under the Website Templates section for the "Tips to Sucessful Websites", you'll find alot of useful information.

    You can also post there for help, alot of people would love to help you- I suggest learning HTML the way i did, htmlgoodies.com if the site is even still up=P

    Most sites use PHP now though, which is similar to HTML.

    Try to learn to use Dreamweaver. It may be alot harder than frontpage, but it has far more capabilities.

    Dreamweaver will take a bit to figure out but in the longrun its worth it!

    Frontpage sucks, get notepad and a hell of a lot of html knowledge.

    Yup.

    Front Page
    Front page, yes its easy to use, and creates sites fast. BUT it is A. Not always cross browser reliable and B. not web standards compliant.

    Dreamweaver
    Dreamweaver is better than Frontpage, most of the time it is cross browser reliable, and im not sure if its web standards compliant.

    Notepad
    PURE OWNAGE.
