This topic needs to be locked. People are just going to be bashing each other by saying IE is the best, and someone else will say that you're an idiot; Firefox is the best.
Right click Firefox on your desktop, click proterties, and put a -p like this "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p That should make it so that when you open it, it gives you a choice of profiles, try clicking the default profile and see if that helps.
awwwh, dont quit the best (IMO) free browser in the world, just because you precious bookmarks dissapeared, its never happened to me, so i think it must just be our computer. If your so intent on not using firefox, just get the ad-supported opera, its better than firefox if you pay for it, but the ads are annoying. GL with the problem
This happens to me all the time so if you didnt get this fixed then do this. You said firefox wont start up and I saw that screenshot. Create a new profile. Yes I know everything will be gone but just do it. Then follow these steps. 1. Open up My Computer and get to this folder. C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME HERE\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles 2. You will see two folders maybe more. Find the folder that uses the most space and copy all the contents inside of it into the other one. BTW keep firefox closed when you do this. And that should do it. If not let me know
dont know what is wrong with it i could help you but i realy dont have the time lol my fire fox works just fine if you go to bookmarks >mange bookmarks then itl open a window and then you open IE then drad all the book mark form IE to that liittl window and itll add them into your bookmarks on Firefox then you can go to GO up at the top and itll show you the last pages you have been to or you can clcik ou go then Go then go all theway to the bottom and hit hisory and itll show you all the places youv went to ok this shurl help you
