Whats a good pc company with decent pcs in the 2.4-2.8 Ghz range with good components like decent amount of ram and good sound and graphic card in the $1200 range?
Buy the parts @ www.outpost.com, build it yourself and get a better made one. Bet you didnt see that coming
Get a 3000 64 Bit processor. 1024of Ram. Flat screen. Keyboard and mouse - wireless. Printer, scanner, camera. Any GFX card yah want. And more. Check out www.dell.com and www.pcworld.com and www.outpost.com and www.computers.com - great summer deals
I was thinking of building one myself but not too sure where to get good parts with a decent price range.
Get a copy of PCWORLD from a drugstore or something. They Rank good computers in the back end of the magazine every month .
you shouldnt build one yourself if your a computer n00b. You may buy wrong motherboards and etc, and once they are installed they cant be returned... Best you get a P.C. for around 1K from a site which is custom built and meets your creterias.
I know the basics about computers plus I know a good magazine to put a pc together. Well I know a little more than basics but I am no expert.
You do know tht if you buy a new processor you need a motherboard to match? if you know that, then you should be fine, buy what yah want as long as you buy a processor and motherboard which can work with each other.
Newegg.com is the best place for computer hardware. Well, buying a motherboard and processor isn't all. You'll have to know how to apply thermal paste to the processor and attaching all the cables together. Not recommended for someone computer illiterate.
Crazypl86, no offense, but I think you should buy a Ready made P.C. for now, as I don't think you know what you want for your custom P.C.. If you buy random parts which are good they may not be compatible with each other and you won't be ableto return them. I strongly suggest you buy a good ready made P.C. to be on the safe side
The best PC you can buy isn't a PC at all-- It's a Mac. Maybe you should look into one if you've got $1200 to spend. http://www.apple.com Please don't flame me. Just letting him know. ;
Mac?! wow. i hate macs, but that is IMO. anyways, is it really that complicated to build a computer. well, i guess it might be for me. see, i can do A LOT of stuff on the internet and on programs and stuff, and know how to and everything, but when it comes to putting it together....*sigh* just cant do it...
