I installed FireFox for a couple of weeks ago and when I installed it worked fine and my bookmarks from IE were transfered to FireFox, I started to only use FireFox and added many bookmarks, and now all of a sudden without logic it seems like the fkn program restarted or something cuz all of a sudden all my booksmarks were gone!!! Not even the "original" bookmarks from IE were there it was fkn empty! This happend without warning. My comp had been on for like 1 hour and I had used FireFox as usual some minutes before, and everything was threre. BUt when I open it now it is empty! This is fkn pissing me of! FireFOx is supposebly be better then IE but wtf is this!? FireFox fkn sucks if it does stuff like this without warning! Fkn ----ty program, cuz I hadnt done anything to mix with functions or anything like that! I'm so fkn pissed right now, about new 20 bookmarks lost!

Happened to my friend who runs IE earlier this week, the bookmarks disapear. So i dont think its anything to do with FireFox, as said its probs your bookmarks folder.
ok go to My Computer ? C://Documents and settings/theprofileyouareusing/Application Data replace therprofile blahblahblah with ur user name then hit go to <><>P then go to mozilla/firefox/some numbers and letters then hit bookmarks tada
i used to have firefox now i have IE and i think they both run fine and theres no really big difference..but i hate that transparancy is grey on IE :lol:

It had been on for an hour and I had used it before it happend I hadnt turned off my comp FFS! The comp had just been on and I hadnt done anything with it from the moment I last used Firefox and ti worked! It is not my comp! If it is something it is firefox fault!
I know it is just bookmarks! but wtf this shouldnt happen I have checked if my new bookmarkes was in the mozilla folder but tthere wasnt a trace that stuff had been there... so people who say firefox is beter are wrong cuz this sucks and I will never fkn use that ----ty ass fkn application again! and i'm trying to help you if you read my posts above you can see that pleaes calm down ok get your firefox shortcut and hit properties and change "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" to "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profilemanager
lol that helped much now when I press on the shortcut it opens explorer>program it orignally said "C:\Program\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" not what you wrote...
=/ does it not open the profilemanger? hmm ok reset it to what it was i know another way edit when i get it
