    OK, so my Photoshop has a problem. :P I go to Filter, and more than half of the effects are blocked off. Can anyone tell me what's happened? >.> Here's a screenshot, thanks.

    make a new layer then try the filters :P

    u have a blank layer.. u need to brush or filter clouds in it first..

    I tried it, but it doesn't work on colour balance layers which I use to spread out the colour.

    eyah well. you cant do all options on color balances right.
    maybe its that

    is ur photoshop legal if its not than that might have something to do with it

    dnt think so unless ur runnin trial version or somin mite have limited filters

    Nah it's alright now, my Photoshop's weird like that. And yes it IS legal.

    this happened to me before, I don't remember what I did to fix it but here is what I can think of...

    make sure it is set for RGB color go to the edit menu to set the color style.

    if all else fails uninstall and reinstall PS.

    mine goes weird sometimes and then resets its self. and everything is Ok . maybe that will happen?

    Its because you chose the wrong formats when you select to make a new file :|

    Make sure when you make a new document its in RGB. You can change a existing document to RGB by doing Image>Mode>RGB.

    my photoshop nvr does this, though if i have a bunch of programs runnning at once then it might quit (ie, firefox, photoshop, limewire, itunes, emullaters)

    happened to me once, but i just restarted my PS and it was working fine
