RaistlinMagius is right, the X-box was released a couple years later of course the technology is better. I find it funny as how the X-box owners always keep repeating that they have better graphics, it seems the X-box doesn't have anything else to talk about. I own a PS2 but I have seen the X-box and I love it to, they both have their strong and weak points. I think Microsoft will be making a big mistake when they are going as planned. They where talking about removing the harddrive and you can't play the games from the previous X-Box on it. Talking about the harddrive you can add one in your PS2 and play games, movies and audio from it.
Like I said before until there are reliable specs to see there is no point in saying which one is better. Everything we hear about the upcoming systems is just hear say. In a years time everything can and will change. One thing I can say though if Microsoft doesn't make the new system backwards compatible I'll end up buying a PS3. Xbox2 for me. I read some things (be them true or not) that the xbox will be computer compatable and nearing the speeds and capabilitys of a computer, if so, that is just amazing..

I'll definetley be getting the xbox 2 or whatever its called, but mainly just because the xbox is so impressive
definatley ps3, xbox is thinking about releasing their next console in 2005, a year before the competition, so how will it have better graphics??? Plus the Microsoft is also thinking about shipping the xbox 2 without a harddrive to cut costs. Most people that i know said that they liked xbox more because it came with a harddrive, better graphics and so on, but if xbox isnt having any of these things they don't have any reason to get an xbox 2. Sony is the farthest ahead in knowing what they are doing with their system so far, they are going to be using the blu-ray disks instead of the hd-dvd and is rumored to have a microproccessor 200 times as fast as any you can get for a home computer and is supposed to give ps3 1000 the performance of ps2 :blink:
I'll be getting both the PS3 and Xbox2. PS3 coz they will have the better games again, christ i'll be buying it for Gran Torismo 4 alone. Plus i have to say that the Xbox only had better graphics because it was out later. Halo/Halo2 is really the only thing that holds me to the Xbox. Cant wait for it to come out for the PC hehe.
