We might get DSL and then cancel aol and then i wont be able to talk to my friends, i have msn but i only works for people who have msn passports and i have aim but the only screen name i can use on that is my aol screen name and heres my question if we cancel aol will they delete my aol screen name because if they dont i can use it on aim otherwise do i have to make a non-aol screen name and how do i just copy all of my buddies on this screen name to another one???
uh. You could save your buddy list and make a new screen name. I think the save option is in File :huh:
no look go to aim save ur buddy list cuz after you cancel aol you cant use that sn anymore so u will have to make a new 1 and to make a new 1 go to aim.com then click download and click new user or u can use ur aim thingy that says make a new sn.
no i think this happend to my friend. he used to have aol then he went broadband but aol wouldnt let him keep his s/n for aim. sucked for him so he had to make a new s/n
Well if thats true then you should save the list, and then when they get the new s/n, just import it back, instead of just risking it. But i had aol like 2 years ago and my s/n still works on aim.
did you have ur s/n before aol? cus i had my aim s/n before i got aol and i got aol under same name then i canceled when i got broadband and it still works for me. i guess its all different circumstances
