What Laptop To Get?

Get the Stock RAM for the Pbook. Buy from newegg or something, I'm pretty sure the RAM is right below the keyboard.. I'm pretty sure that the power book has a monitor connection, so you could connect a bigger screen to it (there are screen span hacks out there , so you could use both screens).

...I'm getting an ibook next year, so I've done "some" research .

 

Well I say 256megs of RAM is plenty for a mac. Theres a function to store RAM on the harddrive so you could easily have 40gigs of RAM , but I wouldn't recommend putting in so much lol.

I'm getting my iBook in august-september depending on when I have the cash.

 

get a mac of curse !!!

procesor is better, osX is stable an better than xp,
ill go for the powerbook, best video card and processor !

Powerbook, I pretty much agree with what most other people said about it. Its a great laptop, and I can say that because I have one lol. Main thing I like about the computer is, everything on it looks so high-tech... But Im a sucker for looks so..

 

I would get a Frag Box laptop. Those things r sweet!!! But you dont have it up there

Hmm, on the RAM part for the Apple laptops you listed, it says 768MB (2x512MB). Now I'm no math genius, but doesn't 2 x 512 = 1024?

er... OSX wouldn't run very fast with 256 megs. 512 or 1gig would be good.

 

Powerbook because if you need to do school work or photoshop apple computers are built for that. So I don't see if your not a gamer just go for the Powerbook.
