I'm guessing its my speakers because the volume is all the way up and i don't have my computer muted. Any help here?

more than that, my username on the computer is the only one that works, i can't access external links (out of the website, i think thats what they're called) and it freezes every 1/2 hour.

    is this a virus?

Well the sound problem could have been caused by a number of things.
    Ex:
•You didn't enable the sound in the Computer (ie. Control Panel).
•Your speakers are unplugged or plugged in the wrong input.
•The connection between speakers is messed up.

The others sound like viruses/trojans/spyware/adware. I suggest you download
    Ad-aware
Kaspersky 2006 or other good AV

Run the personal thing. It might ask you to download a patch. Say yes. After that click Run program. Let it do its thing, I suggest going outside durring this time period. After this is done, Click the box above all the tick boxes. It will highlight them all. Then simply click next. It will delete all unwanted adware. :)

    Sound problem might be
    -Drivers
-do you like a front or top plugin for your speakers? or just back ones and which ones are you using
    -Try reinstalling the speaker drivers
    -Dirty sound card/slots
-your a noob and it something simple :P

    other problem:
Does it come up with a error wen u turn computer back on?
have u got like Mcafee or norton? run them, also as others have said Ad-Aware AND spybot search and destroy, another good program is CCleaner (crap cleaner).
what do u mean only ur login works? like what happens.
