I wandered into the BAttle Arena then saw the voting system :blink: is there an historic reason why the voting is done manually? nameA 1 / nameB 1, and so on for each post? why not attach a Voting poll to the battle once all the entrees are submitted? must be much easier to keep score then person3 saying nameA : 1 / nameB : 2 person4 saying: I like nameA's better and person5 : nameA :1 / nameB : 3 nameA just lost a vote there... once a thread is started/submitted you can Attach New Poll just scroll to the top of the page and hit the Attach New Poll enter ONE OPTION PER LINE you can enter images, url and smiliecodes in the line not sure if the end date of the voting can be set... must check >brb well apparently cant set an end date for the vote... perhaps voting stops when a thread is closed/locked? how we gonna check that... hold on, I'll make a post with poll >brb ok go there http://www.gamerenders.net/forums/index.ph...t=ST&f=1&t=7357 when there are a couple of votes, I'll lock and then if its locked and you no longer can vote post here. if you have already voted you cant vote again... locked or not locked... time for bed ... cyas later
I get what you're saying G. It would make battles so much easier. But this option also has some downfalls. For example, if someone dislikes another person for whatever reason and they just have to vote for the less hated person without giving any logical reason other than hating them. Where making them post "nameA, reasons etc" say 3 reasons for voting one way and not the other would make it fair. Kind of follow me? I know it's hard to figure out because I'm tired as hell and can't sleep yet. h34r: EDIT: I meant the current way of doing battles in the last part of my worthless attempt at making sense. <_<
