Why would you want to put a background on a render when you can save it as a PNG and it will be transparent? It just doesn't make sense, and I often wonder why people do it.
also you gotta save it as a .png file and choose interlaced if its photoshop... and another good thing to do to get those really annoying small bits choose layer blending options and put a stroke on it.. it should highlight all those annoying bits around you render! sorry if somone already posted this!
Yeah, the pentool is the bomb. It can do anything any other tool can do (except maybe the wand, but that makes crappy renders anyways) This is what i can do with the pen:
I think tht the best way to render for myself is to zoom in at 800 percent. This will give u a clear look of the pixels tht u want to cut out or not.usually this is a thing tht takes a lot of time but since rendering is all about pacience i think it works out pretty well...i'll make a rnder to show how it worked for me.
Thr....this one should be a lil of an option http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/shek...quallrender.jpg remember to resize it to normal.
