i thought this movie kinda sucked.. they cant even scratch the things with tanks m4's apache missile, jet missiles, but the main char guy chopped off and arm with an axe.......

You are stupid they had FORCE FIELDS. When he chopped off the arm there was no FORCE FIELD. The movie was GREAT

I thought it was one of the best movies I've ever seen and it as stupid how Robert survived. How could you survive in a fire or something like that?
Yeah lol At the end when they get to the grandparents house, im like 'Oh tom cruise has to tell his wife that thier son died'...then the son comes out of the house, alive. lol T_T... And yeah, i thought the ending was pretty lame...how did the birds manage to get through the forcefield thing...someone explain to me? lol But yeah, i did like it, since it was really scary how weak the humans were against the aliens.
i very much agree, the movie was the best that i seen after, batman begins and a couple of others. only 1 problem i didnt like about war of the worlds. The little girl. i wanted to put her in a sac and kick her ass if she didnt stop screaming !! anywho your not really ment to judge the film about the aliens and the force field. no1 knows what aleins look like wot they do and where they live ! i think it was perfectly fine. i stright 9/10 why not a 10 you ask ? any who im out peace
Movie was amazin and the reason he could cut it with a axe is cus that was the tentical thing not the core part of the robot ailen thing i dont the tenticals had force feilds. All in all movie was a 10/10 in my books
i dont really know exactly but i think it was the bacteria in the Earth that was destroying the aliens. i think that the bacteria was killing the aliens so they were to weak to keep the forcefield up...
I honestly had to say it sucked cause I saw the original and it was dumb how "oh, they caught a cold and died..the end" b/c thats same as the original WOTW...and that idea came from the Spanish Conquistadors spreading their diseases to the Incans a long ass time ago.
it was a great movie. although the one problem I had with it was the Teenage boy survived, he really should have died.
OMG. I woulda said STFU or I will blast ya brains out. It was also good how when Tom Cruise got sucked into the big stomach thing of the tripods and pull the pins off the grenades and it blew up. AH, it was so funny.
