    not 100% sure, but i think my first exposure was generation's SF sig.

    i'm seeinga lot of sigs that look very similar. also that thing that maynards tool did seems to be getting ripped.

    although now that i look at maynards tool's sig my text looks like it could be interepreted for ripping his.

    maynard started it so he shud be the only one who can really use it ... all them noobs who copy him shudnt win

    it's not that maynard invented cutting pieces of a render and moving them around for a cool effect.

    it's that he was one of the first entries and his included it, and now you see lots more that have it, that probably wouldn't have if maynard waited until last day to submit

    Its more like a compliment isnt it MT? cus that means ur work is very inspirational....

    And its not like anyone is gonna do it better then you :huh:

    It would be in any other case, and somewhat is. But in a contest where originality is a great hand in winning, it doesn't help my case any. :P

    True, but i think the judges will take in mind how came up with the idea first,.. (IMO they should) so if like ehm...I ripped ur idea, and made a sig that is principaly the same...and is just as good...i think u should win..it was ur idea first...

    Well, MT...i will try not to rip ur ideas[To much :unsure: , cus it wus u that gave me the idea for this SOTW entry...although its not the same as urs.. :) ]

    i wouldn't worry anyway, the ones that copied didn't do as good of a job as you. and it's all moot anyway cause mine will win. XD rifk

    Well i wouldnt say its ripping. Its learning from others. Its a good effect so why cant other people use it? After all we all do the same thing :P we make sigs

    The "effect" is old. Someone just started to use it again and it happend to be MT.
