Help Please.. No Sound.

    Hey guys well i have a newcomputer i got from my grandfather.. its pretty good got 160 gig of hard dive real nice vidio card irs just real nice.. since i got it there has been no sound on it..i have looked at the sound driver and all it says is foxconn on it.. and foxx con dont make sound cards all they make is the connecter bays.. so i have no idea how to check what kind of sound card it is..its an on board sound card.. and all the focconn conpany doesnt even make drivers... so can any on help!?

    try messing with bios...

    on most computers on imediate boot up press del until bios comes, some other comps use a diferent key mine uses f1.

    then look around and enable integrated sound, or else disable it and enable your sound card. or if you don't have a sound card buy a cheep one for like 10-20$

    go to Start > Run > type "dxdiag"
    itl give everything you need to know about your computer. ;)

    If it's onboard, find out what motherboard you have, visit their website and find your motherboard on there. On the mobo page, you should see a link for various drivers and the sound will be on there as well.
